Abstract: This paper examines common mistakes in conducting writing classes
for ESL students. It highlights the importance of clear instructions, avoiding
overemphasis on grammar, acknowledging cultural differences, providing feedback,
and addressing individual needs. By understanding and addressing these challenges,
teachers can create a more effective learning environment for ESL students.
