Abstract: Translation is a vital component in the global dissemination of
scientific knowledge, enabling effective communication and understanding across
different languages and cultures. In the field of astronomy, accurate translation of terms
is crucial for clear scientific communication, education, and public outreach. This
scientific article explores the challenges and strategies involved in translating terms
denoting astronomy. It discusses the linguistic and cultural factors that influence the
translation process and presents examples of specific challenges encountered in
translating astronomical terms. Furthermore, it highlights the importance of
maintaining consistency and clarity in translations and emphasizes the need for
