Abstract: Language and culture are interconnected aspects of human
communication and identity that play a crucial role in shaping our perception,
interaction, and understanding of the world. The relationship between language and
culture is important in the English classroom as teachers navigate the complexities of
teaching language, which is not only a means of communication, but also reflects
different cultural nuances and values. Understanding the cultural dimensions
embedded in English is inclusive and is essential to creating a culturally sensitive
learning environment.
