Abstract
Annotation:The article offers a comparative analysis of Volunteer Police and
Auxiliary Police models in voluntary civic participation for public safety programs. It
examines the organizational characteristics, training, and powers of these models
across various states. The study delves into the historical and legal aspects of both
models, exploring their differences across jurisdictions and public security agencies in
the United States.
