evoke emotions in their works. This abstract delves into the essence of epithet,
elucidating its definition, types, functions, and impact on language and literature.
Epithet, a descriptive word or phrase, characterizes a person, object, or idea by
highlighting specific attributes or qualities. Types of epithet include descriptive,
Homeric, and fixed, each serving distinct functions within literary expression.
